Okay, so i stared blankly at my collection of awesome dvds and was attempting to find one that would suit my mood and keep me occupied for another couple of hours of my life,… kinda couldn’t choose, it could be :
i) ive over watched them all
ii) none jumped out at me
iii) just wasn’t in the mood for a dvd.
so i turned to my next favorite media store, my collection of external hard drives full of about a month of solid downloaded tv (about 1Tb of tv if your interested). Even with that, i couldnt find something i wanted to watch, so i turned to a website im working on, which will be a media review site, and a section of it is on books.
It dawned on me that i have never finished a book in my life. Thats right 21 years old and ive never ever finished a book. Even in my English GCSE i skipped pages in Macbeth. They have never appealed to me, and i wondered why. The obvious reason came to mine - ‘you can learn it quicker from tv or movies’ which has been my philosophyfor the first 21 year of me. Well no more my friends. Today i began my first ever book and i will finish it, and then start another, my aim is one book a week for the whole summer.
