Comic Con 2008
I dont wana ruin any young geeks rose colored glasses view of Comic Con so ill do the good points first.
First off, im that ‘white’ that i fit in at that place. Im a total nerd in real life in fact if im honest, im king of the internet geeks and quite proud of it. So a comic convention sounds like a perfect place for me. We arrive at Earls Court 2 about midday and paid our 5er entry and entered to see the BTTF car, ive seen it before in Universal Studio but BTTF being one of my favorite trilogy, was awesome… but it wasnt free to get a photo in it, okay, fair enough, its car it cost a lot to get it from the US to the UK, gotta cover the charge.
So moving on we walked though a marketplace of Star Wars and the dark knight merch which is awesome dont get me wrong, but i dont wana pay a 5er to walk around an over priced marketplace. At the end of the room there stood a bunch of Sci-Fi movie stars from some of my favorite films and some ive never seen, . . turns out for a bargain price of 20 quid i can get their autograph, … erm, that sucks, and as a result having bumped into a group of legends dressed up like the joke :

Way exited. hey still better than sitting in doors doing nothing all day,… oh and when we got home played on the Wii for a few hours, Win. i gotta get me a Wii lol
